Session Information

Here you can find all of the things you need to know about scheduling, photo sessions, and more!

Booking a Session

To schedule a session, you will first need to contact me. You can contact me from my photography page on Instagram or Facebook, or right here on my website under "Contact." From here, I will send you an email containing session information. Please check your spam box if you don't see an email within a few days. It usually takes me no more than a day to get back to you.

Preparing for the Photoshoot

• Usually, if your pet needs it, it is best to get your pet groomed or trimmed the day of or the day before the photoshoot for better photo results.
• If you want more unique photos of your pet, be sure to train them to sit, stay, stand, and lie down. This isn't needed for the photoshoot, but it helps make the process quicker. Other fun tricks to train them are sit pretty, head down, paws up, and even wave!
• Bring their favorite treats or toys! When trying to get them posed, this really helps motivate them.
• Have them wear a black thin collar with a black thin leash. This is easier for me to edit out of the photo. I also have a thin black slip lead that you can use as well!

During the Photoshoot

Once we arrive at our decided location, we will meet in the parking lot. Here, you will gather everything you need for the photoshoot (treats, poop bags, etc.). We will then walk around the park to go to the best spots for photos and we will pose your pet in those spots. You will tell me some of your pet's favorite words for me to get their attention. I also bring a squeaky toy, usually that does the trick pretty well!

Once the photoshoot is over, I will have you meet me at my car to show you sample prints and products to help you decide on what to order, as well as set up a date for your ordering appointment.

After the Photoshoot

After the photoshoot, I get to work on editing your photos. I will edit a few photos for an example of the full edits that I will do to the rest if you were to choose them, and then rest shown will be lightly edited. Then, you will receive a sneak peek preview on my Facebook page.

Once it's time for your ordering appointment, we will go through each of the photos I took during the session, and you can pick out your favorites to use as your prints/wall art!

Next, I will order your products and have them shipped to my home. I will let you know once I receive them and then we can work out a time and day for you to pick them up! Processing time on products is approximately 4-6 weeks, depending on what you order.
